As the Chief Executive Officer of BlueShift Advisory Yat brings to this role over 15+ years of experience as a seasoned leader in strategy development, risk management, finance and audit. He has worked with leaders in highly respected organizations in the post-secondary sector, air travel, securities regulation and corporate social responsibility sectors.
Having worked in ambitious and complex organizations over the years, helping entities adapt to changes externally and internally, Yat has significant experience on transforming strategies and understanding the need to foster collaboration across different operational functions.
Yat actively participates in presentations and speaking engagements on the topic of enterprise risk management, internal audit and controls at the Conference Board of Canada, Institute of Internal Auditors and Infonex.
Qualifications
Yat holds a Certificate in Risk Management and Assurance (CRMA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a certification in COSO ERM, a Lean Six Sigma green belt and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting and finance from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
