Andrea is a seasoned finance and risk management professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic financial management, governance, and policy development. She specializes in helping organizations enhance their risk management frameworks, improve internal controls, and build robust policies that drive long-term success. Andrea has worked extensively with non-profit organizations and highly regulated industries in both the private and public sectors. Her passion lies in partnering with clients who are dedicated to making a positive impact on their communities.
Throughout her career, Andrea has held significant leadership positions, including serving as Director of Finance at Child & Family Service Hawaii, where she oversaw the financial function and collaborated with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals. She has also led efforts to strengthen governance and stability as Senior Manager of Global Payroll at Hawaiian Airlines and contributed to HR policy development. At WestJet, Andrea led multi-department teams in Finance and HR, transforming financial processes and optimizing internal control frameworks. Her experience further extends to consulting and audit services with Ernst & Young and policy development at Manitoba Hydro.
